Grant Programs

We are pleased to announce that Variety of Greater Kansas City- Children's Charity-Tent 8 is now accepting applications from agencies for funding through Variety’s 2010 Grant Funding Program.

Unfortunately, as with many of your organizations, Variety's fundraisers have been victims of the economy leaving us with limited funds for this program.

For the 2010 Grant Program, we are limiting the requests to mobility programs only, programs that are directly related to 'getting kids on the go'.

These programs can touch on various areas of mobility from equipment to services. Some recent mobility related programs that we have awarded include; hippotherapy, aquatic mobility equipment, playgrounds, year-round sports programs, fitness programs, and bikes and riding programs.

For your convenience, you may now download the 2009 Grant Progress Report form (required reporting for those of you who were awarded funds in 2009), the Funding Criteria form, the 2010 Grant Application form, and the 2010 Membership form.

Please keep us in mind if you know of a family with a child in need of a wheelchair, lifts or ramps, walkers or other item that contributes to the area of mobility.

The "Kids On The Go!" criteria and application for individual families is also available for download from our website.
