Sam Rice's Gift

Young Variety of Greater Kansas City and the Dead Poultry Society used money from the American Royal Barbecue to help the Rice family purchase a wheelchair for their son, Sam. Young Variety surprised Sam and his family with a check to cover the cost of the wheelchair as well as gifts to celebrate Sam's favorite pastime - baseball.
