Grant Application Letter
We are pleased to announce we are now accepting applications from agencies for funding through Variety’s 2008 Grant Program.
The Variety grant program was modified in 2007 when we launched our “Kids On The Go!” Mobility Program and continuing with that focus on mobility, we encourage you that have mobility programs to direct your requests to that area, however, we are also accepting applications for assistance with other equally important programs and services.
For your convenience, you may now download the 2007 Grant Progress Report form (required reporting for those of you who were awarded funds in 2007), the Funding Criteria form and the 2008 Grant Application form from our website at www.varietykc.org or, if you prefer we will mail or email the forms to you upon request by calling (816) 220-2068.
Please note that we have made some changes to the grant program response dates which are detailed on the criteria form as well as on the application. Most importantly is that we are re-structuring so that the funds we raise are distributed (awarded) in the same fiscal year.
Please keep us in mind if you know of a family with a child in need of a wheel chair, ramp installation, vehicle lift or other item that contributes to the area of mobility. The “Kids On The Go!” criteria and application for individual families is also available for download from our website.
