Variety - the Children's Charity
Variety - is an international, volunteer-driven organization with 53 active chapters worldwide committed to bettering the quality of life for special needs children.

Funds raised by Variety The Children's Charity of Greater Kansas City - Tent #8 benefit children right here in Kansas City. Annual grants are awarded to select children's agencies while the Variety Children's Trust responds to individual requests from families of children needing special assistance. Help has included scholarships, wheelchairs, medical procedures and more.

A long time supporter of Variety -The Children's Charity, Hy-Vee is committed to helping special needs children in the metro area. Your participation at the annual Variety golf tournament provides funding to many local childrens' organizations including Don Bosco Center, Salvation Army Children's Shelter, The Children's Place, Sunshine Center School, De La Salle Educational Center and Crittenton Center. $62,000 was raised for the local chapter of Variety from last year's 2005 golf tournament. Hy-Vee and the children of Variety sincerely thank you for your generous support.
