Variety - is an international, volunteer-driven organization with 53 active
chapters worldwide committed to bettering the quality of life for special
needs children. Funds raised by Variety The Children's Charity of Greater Kansas City - Tent #8 benefit children right here in Kansas City. Annual grants are awarded to select children's agencies while the Variety Children's Trust responds to individual requests from families of children needing special assistance. 8 has been hard at work. As you read through these pages you will
see where our energies have gone. Not only do we strive in all
we do to lend financial assistance to local children's agencies,
we also strive to bring a smile to the children's faces with special
programs that involve their attendance. Typical of these are the
AMC movies that not only treat the kids to a movie, but add the
special eatin' treats that make the morning complete. And their
smiles make us feel good, too!
