AMC ** HOSTS **  THEATRE **  PARTIES

Everybody loves a party, especially when it’s a movie party.  And especially when the party is for the kids.  The question then becomes just who had the best time? Was it the happy throng of kids  6yrs and younger  who on a cold December morning had a visit with Ole Saint Nick and viewed Disney’s “Brother Bear”? 

Or was it the nearly 300 (7-15 yrs old) special children who came trooping in to the AMC Ward Parkway Theatre on a hot July morning to see Sony’s “Spider-Man 2?”  Or perhaps chairperson Joyce Hager-VanHoosier and her Variety volunteers including Victoria Otto, Jim Shutz, Tim McGriff, Executive Director Nadine Mummaw, President Greg Hogue and Variety friend Betty Colaco.

No guessing about the answer.  Everyone present had a wonderful time. 

Thank you AMC for once again hosting Movies for the Kids.  And a warm “thank-you” to the Ward Parkway Theatre staff who kept the popcorn popping and the beverage glasses filled.
