OH MY, HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED

Dress lengths have certainly changed, from ankle low to knee high (and above.) Attitudes have changed, from insular to more out- going. And Variety International has also been witness to change, from an all-male organization, primarily composed of show business members, to men AND women from all walks of life. Call it a sign of the times, a significant change in leadership, if you will. For the past two years Variety International has been well served by Jody Reynolds, its first female President, a dynamic lady with Variety in her veins.

At convention 2003, concluding her pace-setting 2-year term as the worldwide leader of Variety, Jody turned the presidential reigns over to Dry Slonim representing Tent 51 of Israel. Emphasizing the international scope of Variety, Mr. Slonim said In accepting the job, "I am honored and excited. I have many ideas, lots of love and drive to bring to this wonderful organization." Thus, the work of Variety is guaranteed to go forth, as always steadfast in its mission.
